Below, you'll learn about our membership requirements and expectations.
Basic Eligibility Requirements
Collegiate membership in Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. is limited to women who are actively working toward obtaining a baccalaureate degree at a recognized college or university. Potential candidates must be enrolled full-time at UC Davis and have obtained a minimum of a 2.6 cumulative GPA based on a four-point scale.
Prospective members must attend chapter recruitment events, including one informational and one social event to be considered for membership. Recruitment events are held in Fall and Spring quarters.
What does an active member do?

Attend weekly chapter meetings

Complete GPA adjusted academic hours (studying, office hours, etc.)

Complete 5 hours of community service per quarter

Take on a chapter leadership role

Plan and host your own sorority event

Attend quarterly recruitment events

Mentor prospective members and new members

Learn professional business etiquette

Network with members across the nation

Interact with the UC Davis Greek community
